Anthony Loffredio plays a rare solo performance at Nick-a-nees as part of the online music magazine Shaking Like A Mountain's evening of readings and live music night.

The evening will feature music by Chris Monti and Sharks Come Cruisin' as well as poetry, fiction and drama from the Shaking Like A Mountain players including Peter Covino, R.A. Stovetop Lawson, Jo-Ann Reid, Scott Duhamel, Nailah Randall-Bellinger, Wayne Cresser and more.

There will be a $5 suggested donation. The event will run from 6-8pm with Sharks Come Cruisin playing last and well into the night.

Barn Burning will be playing the Indie Arts Festival in Providence, RI on July 18 at 1pm on the Burnside Park stage. More news below.


So, its been a long time since the news page was updated. Our EP Bound To Leave This Dark Behind is officially out of print, but you can still stream it for free on this site. We are working on getting the EP out into the world again either through a record label or by ourselves. There's also a chance that the songs will only be availble for download on this site, but we're working on it and will have updates soon. Right now the sole focus of the band is recording. We will be working on recording a new full length release throughout the summer. Also look for random shows and a short tour in July on the shows page.
